A three piece Scottish ceilidh dance with caller band based in Edinburgh specialising in weddings.

The band work extensively in Scotland, Wales, North West, South West, North East, South East, West Midlands, Yorkshire and Humberside.

The lineup for weddings includes electric fiddle and calling, guitar and drums. They are a very experienced band formed in 1996 who have played at many weddings in venues big and small.

They are thanked in testimonials for entering into the spirit of the event and for getting the wedding party involved with their dances, creating a great atmosphere at your wedding. They also have a set of simpler ceilidh dances that work very well at weddings with international guests and that also appeal to beginners. Great wedding entertainment!

Dear Andrew, Jim and Steve, Thank you so much for playing at our wedding, you made our night a complete success !! The way you made everyone get up and dance all night was fantastic - especially the Germans and the Americans (being Ceilidh virgins) had a blast ! And I didn't want to miss a single dance ! And thank you Jim, for doing that solo for me, I loved your version of it - and Stephen loved his surprise. We could not wish for a better band, we were so delighted. Thanks so much Natalie and Stephen @ Craigielaw Golf Club, North Berwick, july 2010

Friday, July 11, 2008 4:40 PM From: "Norah Sullivan" Hi Andrew, I just want to say how wonderful it was to have you and your band play at our wedding. You were fabulous. Many of our Scottish guests commented on how you were the best caller they had seen. It was just the perfect start to the festivities of the night and I want to thank you for doing such a wonderful job. As one of the many people who had never participated in such a dance, I felt very comfortable and able to do the dances with your instructions. The music was SOO great and I just had the best time. Thanks so much again! Norah

Your band was fantastic, and you did a superb job getting people up onto the dance floor. The guests really enjoyed the music, and the Norwegians especially loved the whole ceilidh experience. Thank you so much for playing such great music for us. We all had a great time dancing to it. Linda and Kevin, MacDonald Marine Hotel, North Berwick march 2011

Just a quick note to say a big thank you to you for a fantastic ceilidh party last Friday. It was a tribute to the music that so many folks were on the floor from the start and fully participated all evening. We loved the instruments ! Ian and Rachel McWilliam

"Heriot-Watt University's Alumni Association hired the band for a Ceilidh in June 2009. They were very professional, well dressed and enthusiastic about the task. Their AV equipment that they brought along was perfect for the venue and the set up was all completed prior to the event which meant that there was no disruption. The music was of a very high standard and they even offered to play Celtic Guitar while the meal was being served, which was excellent. The caller was great and he got in about each of the groups of dancers and ensured that everyone was comfortable with what they were doing. This was especially beneficial to our event as we had people attending from Norway, Mexico, Poland, Germany, Singapore and Australia. All in all; they were great value for money and I would recommend them to any other prospective hirers, with no hesitation."
