He became fascinated with the classical and flamenco style and, inspired by the maestro Segovia, devoted many years to studying the technique. After taking encouragement and advice from the renowned Spanish guitar centre in London, he became resident guitarist at Piaf restaurant in Wimbledon village. A move to Cornwall followed, where he began successfully performing at weddings and corporate events. Drawing on his vast experience, he also gives private tuition on the guitar.
