Thank you for putting on an awesome show for our wedding. - you guys are amazing and totally made our night. Can't wait to see the Israeli dancing video. Can't believe I leapt onto that sheet! The super funky, soulful set went down a treat and made the night. Everyone couldn't stop raving about you and we loved having you as part of our wedding. Special mention to Geoff who's been a pleasure to deal with. Can't wait to party with you guys again! Love Laura and Lewis x

Lewis and Laura Maleh, wedding at Gibson Hall in London – 29th December 2012

Groove Almighty played 3 nights for us through December in the Pavilion Rooms. Every night was an amazing success and all the guest were commenting on how good the band was. I would recommend this band to anyone!! Thanks guys!

Emily Pearce, head of hospitality at Ascot Racecourse – December 2012

Choosing your wedding band can often be a little bit of an ordeal, there are just SO many to choose from, they all offer the same thing and always say exactly "the same" thing, it really is very hard to truly stand out. NOW I'm really into my music, so what mattered more than anything else was just that the music was extremely good! I really wanted to get it just right, as does everyone, so I went through them all, you mention a wedding band I've probably heard of them...BUT without a shadow of a doubt 'Ambassador'; who I'm not going to call a 'band' because I feel that cheapens them and puts them in a bracket with everyone else; Groove Almighty are genuinely, a cut above the rest, another level, premier league stuff, instrumentally they are so goddam tight I’m surprised they didn't pass out after each performance. They are not just another "wedding band" they are a class act, incredibly professional, supremely talented funk musicians & artists. They are absolutely guaranteed to get your wedding/party/whatever the hell you bloody well want, going NUTS! You might think 'Oh he's been told to say this' & 'course he's going to say this, it was his wedding after all'. NO, they are the real deal, SERIOUSLY impressive and I will recommend them to anyone I speak to. I mean they played at 'the Savoy' in London the night before my wedding (which is incredible as it is) and then the next day travelled all the way up to Lancashire to play at my wedding WOW! We couldn't have been more thrilled with what you did for us, I can't speak anymore highly of you guys! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Peace and BIG Love. GET DOWN!!! xxx ; )

Freddie Wood Wedding in Lancashire – September 2012

"I normally read testimonials with a pinch of salt and an overly-cynical mindset, so if you are reading this in a similar vein then please read on for a minute. I booked Groove Almighty for my wedding on Aug 10th, just off the strength of their MP3s and from the very communicative, prompt and friendly contact I had with Geoff. I hadn't heard them live, and spent a large chunk of my budget on them. Start to finish we were blown away! I do not say this lightly. They played our first dance flawlessly and the dance floor was rammed from then until the end of the night. They were perfect - professional, flawless, and friendly. I never thought I'd be writing a 'cheesy' testimonial for a website but felt compelled to do so. Thank you, thank you, thank you guys, we have had nothing but positive feedback from all our guests and even the owners of the house who enjoyed your music! ;) so, please if you are thinking of booking Groove Almighty, then I hope my testimonial helps convince you - you will not regret it!

Ollie and Sadie Mullard, Wedding, Claydon House, Bucks - Aug 10th 2012

Wow! You were amazing! Where do I start? The lead singers are second to none and the band are so in sync. Some of our guests have been around the music scene with their own bands for years, touring the UK themselves and they are critical to detail but they, along with all of our other guests, were all blown away with what they heard...and saw because these guys turn up looking the part too. They are funky, current, smart, stylish and have a repertoire that is so much more than the usual wedding bands set list. They played tunes that kept the dance floor full all night long and all our guests were talking about the quality of the band on the night and even still now. We asked the band to learn an Alisha Keys song for us for our first dance, which Elisha sang and the band played, it was beautiful and faultless. Geoff was brilliant with his communication (booking, venue arrangements etc) which made dealing with the band a pleasure. That may seem like it should go without saying but we couldn't say that for all of the suppliers we used and it really helped to make things easier. We didn't want the night to end and would without doubt rebook, in fact, if we can find a gig they're playing at in the midlands we'll be definitely trying to get to it!

Rossie and Dave, wedding at Crew Hall in Cheshire 2012

"We had Groove Almighty as our wedding band three weeks ago and they were jaw-droppingly good. The set, delivery and energy these guys have is all amazing. Anyone looking for a wedding band should use them. All my friends loved them too - as well the family. Loved how they got the crowd going and really made it a party for us. Truly first rate band.

Emma Weil, Jewish wedding in London at The Royal Horseguards Hotel – October 2012
Thanks for doing your bit for the Demelza Hospice guys. Your band is fantastic!
Dave Berry –TV presenter, Demelza Hospice charity event at Savoy London 21st September 2012.

Groove Almighty are brilliant for any Jewish wedding, it was our daughter’s wedding last weekend and they are everything they say they are and more - from beginning to the end of our Simcha.

Angela Samuels, daughter’s wedding at East Sussex National Hotel - 5th August 2012
